They are needed for rebuilding and producing new cells and appear to have desirebale offects on many disorders.* Omega-3 EFA's, which include alpha-linolenic and eicosapentaenoic acid, are found in deepwater fish, fish oils and certain vegetable oils, among them canola oil, flaxseed oil and walnut oil.* To a limited extent, omega-3 oil from vegetable sources, such as flaxseed oil, can convert to EPA (which you would get at full strength in fish oils).
